The personas in this library are so called spin-off personas. They are inspired by the original Blueprint personas and were created by organisations who wanted to use the Blueprint format and key information categories but needed personas that met their specific needs and purposes for which they felt the original 12 personas didn’t quite fit. These spin-off personas therefore attempt to meet finer definitions of population segments than those covered by the original 12 personas which are somewhat broader in scope. The spin-off personas representing different social backgrounds to the original 12 personas such as economic immigrants and more specialised disease types and different types of carers. These spin off personas have been created by organisations in collaboration with empirica and other Blueprint team members. Empirica will continue to add further spin-off personas to this library through contributions from other organisations.
